Pakistani expat retires after 41 years with Ras Al Khaimah Police

Pakistani national Muneer Hussein Muneer, 60, has retired after 41 years of service with Ras Al Khaimah Police. He arrived in the UAE at 19 and joined the Ministry of Interior in 1986, working as a uniform supervisor and foreman. During his career, he saw policing shift from manual processes to digital records and modern equipment. His role involved recording measurements for new recruits and processing uniform requests, and Muneer said the UAE is his home, having grown up, built his career, raised his family and created memories there. For UAE residents, his story shows long-term expatriates can build lasting lives and careers in the country.
